About Scott Howard

Scott has over 30 years teaching and coaching experience and can take your game to the next level.  He currently is the Head Men’s & Women’s Tennis Coach at Mission College in addition to teaching at Stanford.  Scott continues to be very active in the tennis community and is an USPTA Elite Pro.  Born and raised in San Francisco, he graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s in Broadcast Communications. 

Scott comes from a very well-known and respected Bay Area tennis family. His father Gil, has won 13 national championships and was #1 in the world in the Men’s 55 & over division. His two brothers (Mike and Kevin) were both ranked in the top 500 in the world (ATP), and his sister (Susan) played #1 at San Francisco State University.
